Games Consoles Top Trumps

November 10, 2012

In ICT Year 6 have begun to look at how computers work and how they have improved over the past 30 or so years. To help them understand terms such as CPU and RAM they have looked at some of the various consoles in our Museum of Technology and have begun to create Games Console Top Trump cards.

I am really intrigued by your museum of Technology – how did you get it set up, and source the technology?

The museum of technology is sourced from a combination of parental/staff donations, eBay and car boot fares. So far we have an Acorn Electron, ZX Spectrum, Atari 2600, GameCube, MegaDrive II, original Playstation, Master System, original xBox, original Gameboy and 5 different Pong machines. Almost all are in working order 🙂
